Vent-Flex PREMIUM ø75 is a flexible ventilation cable in the highest material specification of the manufacturer, designed for air distribution in recuperation installations. Unlike the basic version, it combines three safeguards at the same time: antibacterial coating with nanosilver, antistatic coating and UV stabilizer. The DN75 diameter is the most frequently chosen range in distribution (radial) installations, where a separate, uninterrupted section of the cable is conducted to each air point.

Three coatings, three different installation problems

Antibacterial coating with nanosilver — reduces the growth of bacteria and mould on the canal walls. In a 24-hour installation, the air vented into the bedroom and children's room passes through several tens of meters of wire, and moisture and dust create an indoor natural environment for microorganisms. The wire has PZH test allowing it to be used in premises intended for the permanent residence of persons.

Antistatic coating — key difference from the STANDARD version. Plastics in contact with flowing air accumulate an electrostatic charge that attracts dust and dust particles to the walls. The result is the gradual overgrowth of the channel with sediment: flow resistance increases, air efficiency decreases and the installation requires more frequent cleaning. The antistatic coating dissipates the load so that the inside of the wire remains clean much longer — it is a real saving on the service in the span of several years of operation.

UV stabilizer — protects the material from degradation under the influence of sunlight. It matters already at the construction stage: wires spread on the ceiling or attic can wait for construction for weeks, exposed to light by roof holes and unprotected windows. Without a stabilizer, the material during this time breaks and loses flexibility. The PREMIUM version also allows you to run the wire in permanently exposed places — in non-use lofts, in halls and technical spaces.

PREMIUM and STANDARD version — what exactly you gain

The recuperation installation built in the floor or ceiling remains in place throughout the life cycle of the building — the replacement of the wire means the chain of the faucet. The supplement to the PREMIUM version represents a fraction of the cost of the entire installation, and concerns an item to which after completion of construction no longer has access.

Air flow and diameter selection

The manufacturer shall make available flow resistance characteristics for the whole range (DN63, DN75, DN90). Channel DN75 is a compromise between performance and dimensions: with the same amount of air, it generates significantly lower resistance than DN63, while remaining easier to run in the floor or ceiling layer than DN90. In design practice, two parallel wires are used for one DN75 line, instead of increasing the diameter.

The cable is installed without specialized tools — it is enough to measure the length of the roll and connect to the dashboard or expansion box with dedicated connectors and bands. The 50 mn roll format allows many single-family homes to make several full radial sections from one package, without intermediate connections on the route — and each avoided connection is one place less prone to leakage and deposition of impurities. Disassembly does not require any damage to the other components of the system, which facilitates the service and cleaning of the installation.
