Fans – roof, duct, wall and bathroom fans
The fan is the heart of the mechanical ventilation system – a device that forces air flow where the gravitational pull is not enough. In this category you will find more than 200 devices: from bathroom fans for 79 PLN, through canal and wall, to roof, radial, kitchen for food hoods and EX explosion-proof versions. We offer Aventa, Dospel, Vents, S&P, Harmann, Ferono, Tywent, Havaco, Venture Industries and Salda brands including energy-efficient EC and BLDC constructions. Shipping from a wholesale warehouse in Kielce.

Which fan for what task?
| Application | Fan type | Why this |
|---|---|---|
| Bathroom, toilet, windowless room | Bathroom fan fi 100 or 125, versions with timer and hygrostate | Automatic deactivates the device after drying; "quiet" models descend into the vicinity of 25 dB |
| Extortion of flow in the existing channel route | Channel fan, axial or radial | Channel assembly, wide range of performance from several dozen to 2200 m3/h |
| Exhaust from the building through the roof | Roof fan (RCM, TURKAN, RBH, WD BLDC, Salda VSV/VSA) | Noise and vibration remain outside the building; housing resistant to atmospheric conditions |
| Ventilation of the hall, workshop, business premises | Axial wall fan (Aventa WO, Ferono FPT) from 405 to 5500 m3/h | Large flow with low spring and simple wall mounting |
| Installation with high resistance – long routes, filters, dampers | Radial fan (ICB, KSK) | Maintains performance at high pressure, where the axle already "seats" |
| Opaque in catering, extract of fumes and fat | Kitchen fan for eaves, versions 230 V and 400 V | Design adapted to work with hot, greasy air |
| Area under threat of explosion – paintworks, chemistry, biogas | Explosion fan EX (TD EX channel, axial WO EX, WOK EX) | Implementation foreseen for operation in Ex zones – solution required, not optional |
| Heat distribution from the fireplace | Fireplace fan | Resistance to elevated air temperature from fireplace coat |
How to calculate the required performance?
The simplest method for a room is Cubatura multiplied by times the air change per hour. The size is calculated as the length × width × height and the number is taken from the nature of the room:
| Room | Indicative exchange times |
|---|---|
| Bathroom, WC | 5-8 exchanges/h |
| Home cooking | 10-15 exchanges/h |
| Office, office room | 4-6 exchanges/h |
| Workshop, economic room | 4-8 exchanges/h |
| Food | 20-40 exchanges/h |
Example: bathroom 2,5 × 2,0 × 2,5 m has 12,5 m3 quabs. With 6 replacements per hour you need about 75 m3/h, so a typical fin 100 fan – but with a spare, because the catalogue efficiency is given at zero spring, i.e. for a device without a connected channel. The values in the table are indicative and do not replace the design of the installation; in addition, the minimum streams from the PN-83/B-03430 are used in the dwellings.
Performance alone is not enough – look at the spring
That's the most common purchase mistake. The fan reaches the catalog m3/h only when nothing resists it. The connected channel, knees, filter, damper and grate form the flow resistance expressed in strips, and with its increase the efficiency falls – this dependence describes the characteristics of the fan's work. Therefore, with a short throw straight through the wall, an axial fan is enough, while with several meters of canals with fittings you have to reach for a radial version or model with a significantly higher spring. If the manufacturer gives a performance/pressure graph, select the device at a point corresponding to the resistance of your installation, not after the highest number of descriptions.
AC or EC/BLDC engine?
The EC and BLDC engines take on significantly less energy and work quietly, especially at lower speeds, and the speed is adjusted by the control signal instead of choking the voltage. In continuous work – ventilation of the house, service premises, installation working around the clock – higher purchase price is paid in bills. The classic AC engine remains a sensible choice where the device works briefly and occasionally. Note for steering: the EC fan is not regulated by ordinary tyristor regulator – a 0–10 V signal driver is needed.
Installation and operation – 6 rules
- Keep the air flowing. The exhaust fan in a sealed apartment has no place to get air – window or wall vents are necessary.
- Do not mount your knee directly on the shortcut. A disturbed inlet stream can reduce productivity by several percent.
- Cut the vibrations. The flexible connector with the fan and the rubber insert are the difference between quiet and audible installation throughout the building.
- Use return flap where the fan works periodically – without it, the air returns via a canal when the device is turned off.
- Check the working conditions. The air temperature, humidity, the presence of fat or dust and the degree of IP protection shall correspond to the manufacturer's declaration.
- Clean the rotor at least once a year. The base on the blades reduces performance and considers the rotor, which reduces bearing life.
Complete Installation
You'll get the rest of the system to the fan: ventilation ducts, silencers, return flaps, grates and anemostats, turnover regulators, grips and handles and chimneys.
Why buy a fan in Wentec
We advise you to select the device to the real resistance of the installation, not just to the meter of the room – this is the most common cause of disappointment with purchase. We run a wholesale warehouse with more than 2000 indexes, so you will complete the fan, channels and automation in one order. We send in the whole Poland, and in Kielce and Świętokrzyskie voivodship we deliver the goods by our own transport. Describe to us the installation – room dimensions, route length and channel diameter – writing on info@wentec.pl or by text on 606 376 838.
The most common questions about fans
What bathroom fan?
The typical bathroom is equipped with a model of fi 100, to a larger fi 125. It is worth choosing a version with timer or hygrostate so that the device works itself after a bath, and a low noise model, around 25–30 dB.
How is the axial fan different from the radial fan?
The axles overwhelm large amounts of air with small resistance and work with short ejection. Radial produces much higher pressure, so it maintains performance in installations with long channels, filters and dampers.
Why does the fan have less performance than in the description?
Because the catalog value of m3/h concerns work without resistance. When connecting the channel, knees, grates and filter, the actual flow is lower – you need to select the device with a spare or according to performance-pressure characteristics.
Is the EC fan worth paying for?
In continuous operation like this – the EC or BLDC engine takes significantly less energy and works quieter, especially at reduced speeds. With the equipment included occasionally, the difference in accounts will not compensate for the higher purchase price.
Can the fan be connected to the existing gravity channel?
Usually yes, but this requires checking that the channel does not serve other premises and that the building does not have an open combustion chamber device. In case of doubt, you should consult the chimney sweeper or building manager.
