Are you looking for a secure attachment of ventilation ducts? This clamp consists of two steel parts and an EPDM rubber gasket to ensure stability, vibration reduction and tightness of connections in HVAC systems. Up to Ø 400 mm, one side is self-locking – you can install faster and without unnecessary tools. Above Ø 500 mm, you attach them to two threaded rods for complete safety.
Quick assembly: up to Ø 400 mm, the self-locking side speeds up work on the construction site.
Tightness and vibration damping: the EPDM gasket reduces noise and micro-leaks.
Secure fastening: steel construction + recommendation of two rods for Ø ≥ 500 mm.
Universal fastening: M8/M10 to threaded rod or stud screw.
Serviceability: the gasket can be easily removed/replaced.
Round ventilation ducts in recuperation, comfort and industrial ventilation systems.
Ceiling and wall mounting in offices, homes, warehouses, halls.
Construction: 2 steel parts, connected with bolts.
Gasket: EPDM (removable).
Diameter range:
up to Ø 400 mm: self-latching + one side on a screw, fastening via M8/M10 blind rivet nut to a threaded rod or double-threaded screw;
from Ø 500 mm upwards: two threaded rods are mandatory for installation safety.
Fastening: M8/M10 rivet nut → threaded rod / stud bolt.
Resistance to aging and HVAC operating conditions.
Vibration damping → less noise and less loosening over time.
Tightness of the connection during temperature changes.
Fits standard SPIRO/round ducts.
Choose the size of the clamp according to the outer diameter of the duct.
Can the gasket be removed?
Yes, the EPDM gasket is removable – easy to service or replace.
How do I install above Ø 500 mm?
As recommended: two threaded rods for stability and safety.
Does the clamp fit for M8 or M10 rod?
Both standards - M8/M10.
General safety rules for fittings, ducts, grilles and mounting accessories for ventilation
Elements of ventilation systems, such as fittings, ducts, ventilation grilles and mounting accessories, have been designed to ensure proper air circulation in buildings.
Correct installation and operation are crucial for the safety of users and the performance of the entire system.
Principles of safe use and installation
Installation by qualified persons only
All installation works should be carried out by people with experience in the installation of ventilation systems and knowledge of applicable standards.
Safe mounting location
Assemble components according to the design of the ventilation system.
Avoid placing wires and grilles near heat sources, open flames, or devices that emit heat.
Avoiding mechanical damage
Do not bend, deform, or damage the ducts and fittings during assembly.
In the event of visible mechanical damage, the element should not be used.
Protection against moisture and corrosion
Use the elements for their intended purpose – in rooms exposed to moisture, use fittings and ducts made of corrosion-resistant materials.
Store mounting accessories in dry and clean conditions.
Proper fixation and stabilization
All system components must be installed stably and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Improper fastening can lead to loose ductwork, reduced ventilation performance or structural damage.
Safety at work at height
When installing grilles or cables under the ceiling, appropriate safety safeguards such as stable ladders, scaffolding and personal protective equipment must be used.
Potential risks
Falling of elements – resulting from improper fastening of wires, fittings or grilles.
Mechanical damage – caused by improper transport or assembly.
Risk of fire – the use of unsuitable materials in high-temperature areas can lead to damage and fire hazards.
Improper air quality – installation errors can limit proper air circulation and negatively affect the comfort of users.
Maintenance and inspections
Regularly check the condition of wires, fittings, grilles and mounting accessories.
Clean the vents of dust and debris to maintain system performance.
If damage is found, replace the components with new ones in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Summary
Proper installation and operation of fittings, ducts, grilles and ventilation accessories guarantee the safety of users, system efficiency and long service life of the installation.
Compliance with the above rules minimizes the risk of failure and ensures comfortable and safe air exchange in rooms.
