Safety Information – WOK/EX

WOK/EX fans are designed to work as an exhaust in duct installations. They can work with the temperature controller and speed controllers (selected for the requirements of the Ex zone).

The design of the equipment uses acid-resistant sheet; The inlet and outlet are protected with acid-resistant meshes. The drive is an explosion-proof engine. The power cord should be routed through the hole with the rubber grommet in the housing.

Permissible operating conditions: medium temperature from –15°C to +40°C, IP54 protection. Exceeding these values may reduce the level of protection and durability of the device.

Ex classification in WOK/EX series cards: Ex 2(3)G. Note: Ex II2G version available only in acid-resistant materials (according to the manufacturer's note).

Rules of safe use: installation, connection and commissioning should be carried out by persons qualified to work in hazardous areas; do not remove protective nets; use only equipment (regulators, protections) approved for operation in a given zone; periodically check the mechanical and electrical condition of the connections and the tightness of the ducts; operate the device according to the parameters from the card (flow, compression, temperature). The basic requirements and purpose (extractor, control equipment, materialization, IP/temperature) result from the documentation of the WOK/EX series.
