Safety information – AIRO 160 wall-mounted recuperator
Correct installation and operation of the AIRO 160 recuperator are crucial for the safety of users and the reliable operation of the device. Follow these tips to avoid hazards and extend the life of your equipment.
1. Safe installation
Installation of the appliance should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with applicable building and electrical standards.
The recuperator should be installed only in vertical external walls intended for this type of installation.
Make sure that there are no electrical wires, gas or water systems running around the installation location.
Allow free airflow – do not cover or block the air inlets and outlets.
2. Electrical connection
Disconnect power at the installation site before starting assembly.
Only connect the appliance to a grounded socket with parameters in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements.
Do not use makeshift extension cords or splitters.
If the power cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by an authorized service center.
3. Safe operation
Do not obstruct the recuperator's inlet and outlet grilles.
Do not use the appliance in rooms where there is high dust, moisture, chemical fumes or flammable gases.
Avoid introducing foreign objects into the ventilation ducts – this may damage the fan.
Do not run the unit without the filters fitted – this may lead to contamination of the exchanger and damage to the motor.
4. Maintenance and cleaning
Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
Air filters should be cleaned or replaced according to the manufacturer's recommendations (usually every 3–6 months).
Periodically check the patency of the air ducts to avoid performance drops.
All repairs, mechanical maintenance and replacement of components should be carried out by an authorized service center.
5. User protection
The appliance is not intended for use by children and persons with reduced motor or cognitive abilities without supervision.
Do not allow children to play with the elements of the recuperator.
If you use appliances that burn gas or solid fuels in your home, make sure that the ventilation system is properly protected against backflow.
6. Manufacturer's warnings
Do not disassemble or modify the structural components of the device.
Only use original spare parts and accessories.
In case of unusual noises, burning or overheating smell – switch off the appliance immediately and contact service.
