The WO-EX series explosion-proof axial fans have been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of European Union law for equipment intended to operate in potentially explosive atmospheres.

ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU – equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC – in the field of safety of use of machinery and equipment.
Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU – in the field of electrical safety.
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU – protection against electromagnetic interference.
Complies with the requirements of EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-7 for electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres.
✅ Marking and certification
The product has the CE mark confirming compliance with the European Union law.
Explosion-proof classification: Ex II 2G – a device designed for gas zones 1 and 2, with explosion group IIA/IIB and temperature classes T1, T2 and T3.
Degree of protection: IP54 – protection against dust and water splashes.
✅ Conditions for safe use
The fan should only be used in potentially explosive atmospheres according to the ATEX classification.
Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by persons with appropriate qualifications and authorizations.
Before starting, make sure that the power cord is routed through a dedicated rubber grommet in the housing.
The fan should only be operated horizontally as an exhaust fan.
The maximum operating temperature: +40°C must be observed.
Regular inspection of the technical condition (tightness, cables, safety nets) is required to maintain safety.
