Air conditioning - air conditioners and mounting accessories
The air conditioner is only one element of the installation – the rest decides whether it will work smoothly for years: copper pipe cooling route, condensing, external unit fixing and regular evaporator disinfection. In this category you will find over 70 item(s): Split air conditioners, certified copper cooling pipes in isolation from 1/4" to 7/8", torsion connectors, condensing pumps and siphons, PVC tubes, Optimal masking troughs, brackets and anti-vibration bases, wall culverts and cleaning preparations. Shipping from a wholesale warehouse in Kielce.

What's the power of the air conditioner to the room?
The starting point is demand of 80 to 100 In cooling power per square metre A typical apartment. In a well-warmed building with windows from the north, a lower limit is enough, and with a large glass from the south or the attic you have to take a higher value.
| Surface | Indicative cooling power |
|---|---|
| up to 20 m2 | Okay. 2,6 kW |
| 20-30 m2 | approx. 3,5 kW |
| 30-45 m2 | approx. 5.0–5.1 kW |
| 45-60 m2 | approx. 6.0–6.9 kW |
Oversize is as bad as undersized. The too large device cools the air too quickly, shuts down before drying the room and works in short cycles, reducing comfort and reducing the life of the compressor. The values from the table are indicative – under unusual conditions it is worth to calculate the heat gains.
Important: installation of the split system requires F-gas permissions
Installation and service of equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases – including a typical air conditioner split, which requires a cooling route, leak test and system filling – this activities reserved for persons with F-gas certificate. Self-assembly means not only the loss of guarantees, but also the risk of leakage and consequences resulting from f-gas regulations. Elements in this category – pipes, troughs, brackets, drainage of condensates – can be prepared on your own, while connecting the refrigerant agent to the authorized installer.
What you need for installation – complete list
| Installation element | Product | What to Pay Attention |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerating route | Refrigerated copper tube in insulation, approved, 1/4"-7/8", sections 1 mb or 25 mb discs | For home appliances, the steam 1/4" + 3/8"; copper must be defatted and intended for refrigeration |
| Connection of pipe sections | Torsional connectors 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" | Connection without soldering – useful for route extension and repair |
| Draining gravitational condensers | 16 mm PVC tube, transparent or flush pipe with ball | It requires a constant drop over the entire length; siphon blocks the smell from the sewer |
| Drainage without drop | Condenser pump (Aspen Mini Orange, SFA SANICONDENS) | A solution when it is impossible to lead a gravitational tube – e.g. in the interior of the building |
| Covering the route on the facade | Optimal 90×65 mm with set of fittings: knees, connectors, rosettes, endings | Aesthetics and protection of tube insulation from UV, which over time destroys it |
| External unit attachment | Wall brackets 60 and 80 cm to 150 kg, MSH bar mount, IMS anti-vibration base | Rubber pads cut off compressor vibrations from building construction |
| Planting on roof or terrace | Big-Foot roof rate, roof culvert | Installation without breaking the waterproofing layer |
| Passing through the wall | Wall pass L-350 mm, diameter 60 mm | Protects pipes and insulation in the drill and cleans the passage |
| Cleaning and disinfection | NANOCLEAN, Scorpion COIL CLEANER | Concentrates for evaporator and condenser – the basis of seasonal service |
Condenses – the most common cause of failure and flooding
The working air conditioner produces several liters of water a day. If the drain does not have an even drop or is clogged, the water flows from the internal unit straight to the wall. Therefore, the tube is driven without local pits, at the end it assembles a smell-proof siphon, and where gravity is not enough, it uses a condenser pump. Once a season, it is worth flushing the drain – it is a few minutes of work that prevents the most expensive fault in the entire installation.
Operation – 5 principles
- Do not cool the room by more than 6 to 7 °C in relation to external temperature – a greater difference weighs the body and increases energy consumption.
- Clean internal unit filters every 2-4 weeks during the season. A clogged filter is less performance and higher billing.
- Disinfect the evaporator once a season. Moist lamellas are an ideal environment for mould and a source of unpleasant smell when launched.
- Keep the expensive sprinkler outside – leaves, pollen and dust on lamellas reduce the efficiency of the whole system.
- Remember, the air conditioner doesn't vent. Cools circulation air but does not provide fresh air – ventilation or recuperation is responsible for air exchange.

Most common questions about air conditioning
Can air conditioning split itself?
Work on a cooling system containing f-gases should be performed by a person with an F-gas certificate. The route, trough and mountings can be prepared on their own, while the connection and filling of the system must be commissioned by the authorized installer.
What diameter of copper pipes for the air conditioner?
For most household appliances up to about 3.5 kW it is a 1/4" and 3/8" pair. For higher power, 1/4" with 1/2" or thicker – the binding information always provides the technical documentation of the particular model.
When do you need a pump of condensates?
When the drain pipe cannot be driven with a constant drop to the receiver – for example when installed in the interior of the building or below the level of sewage. The pump presses the condensates upwards and allows them to lead to drain.
Why does the air conditioner smell bad when turned on?
Most often due to sediments and microorganisms on a moist evaporator or contaminated filter. It helps to clean the filters and disinfect the exchanger with a preparation for air conditioning.
Does air conditioning replace ventilation?
Nope. The standard air conditioner split works in the circulation air – it cools them down, but does not provide fresh from the outside. Gravity ventilation, mechanical ventilation or recuperation are responsible for air exchange.
